Roll-up shutters are the quickest and easiest protection system provided by Jansen Shutters. They roll down with just a hit of the switch or manual crank, instantly providing a secure enclosed area protected from wind borne debris and hurricane force winds. If your electricity happens to go out during a storm, the motorized roll-ups can be manufactured with a manual override so you can still get in and out of your home. When not in use the aluminum slates are guided by a track and secured in an upper housing unit. Due to the salty and humid Florida air, roll-up parts are made of aluminum guaranteed not to rust and ensuring longevity and maximum performance.

Building Code Specifications
This system is designed for use only outside high velocity hurricane zones. Roll-ups meet the large missile impact test and the Florida Building Code (FL5028) and is limited to 19 feet and 3 inches.
